I watched Prodigal Son's season--hopefully not series--finale tonight, and this show better not end there. Fox has cockblocked me too many times with shows I loved not getting picked up for a new season and thus ending with an eternal cliffhanger.

Civic actually passed inspection, though I had to pay an additional $200 beyond the inspection fee for labor to do an emissions test because my continuing "check engine" light issue made it necessary for it to pass. (My car's computer, continuing to be coy, didn't make it easy on them either.) Not ideal by any means, but better than Civic failing ( Read more... )

In the midst of another humid heat wave, I'm very ready for autumn to start.

I left my car overnight at the mechanic so they can give it its annual inspection Tuesday morning. I'm so nervous of what they'll find that I need to get fixed for my Civic to pass and be legally roadworthy. If they say I need to do that $2,500 repair now or Civic won't ( Read more... )

I forgot to say that Schrödinger's car is still alive. Civic passed the annual inspection after getting the front brakes replaced, which sucks but could've been much worse and more expensive.
